Commercial Property Senior Associate/Associate – Gloucestershire5+ PQE | Stroud / Gloucester | Hybrid WorkingA well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Gloucestershire is looking to strengthen its Commercial Property team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Associate or Associate Solicitor.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property lawyer to join a growing team, take responsibility for a quality caseload and play an active role in the continued development of the department.The role would suit a confident Commercial Property Solicitor who enjoys working closely with clients and is looking for a firm where they can build long-term relationships, develop their career and have genuine involvement in the growth of the practice.The RoleYou will handle a varied commercial property caseload, advising a broad range of businesses and commercial clients on matters including:Commercial property acquisitions and disposalsLandlord and tenant mattersCommercial leases and associated documentationProperty management mattersDevelopment and investment workGeneral commercial property transactionsYou will be expected to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver solutions that work for their business.There is also a strong opportunity to become involved in business development and networking, developing existing client relationships and helping to generate new work for the department.As a senior member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to support and mentor more junior lawyers and play an active role in maintaining the collaborative culture of the department.The CandidateThe successful candidate will ideally have around 5+ years' PQE and have solid experience across a broad range of commercial property matters.You will be:An experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with appropriate practice rightsTechnically strong with a good understanding of commercial property and landlord and tenant lawCommercially aware and confident dealing directly with clientsExperienced in building and maintaining strong client relationshipsComfortable getting involved in networking and business developmentA clear and confident communicator who can provide advice in straightforward, plain EnglishWell organised with excellent attention to detailA supportive team player who is keen to contribute to the wider success of the departmentThis is a role where personality and commercial approach are just as important as technical ability.
