Technical Business Analyst Hedge Fund 150,000 Plus Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our high profile client.You must have had experience as a developer earlier in your career. Our client is a well known quantitative proprietary trading firm, liquidity provider and market maker. They operate globally and are considered to be a market leader in their field. The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you.As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be the key driver of the entire project lifecycle; starting from using requirements elicitation techniques to gather business requirements, identify problems or discover gaps, evaluate project objectives and track progress, to ultimately ensure successful delivery of the project.Day to Day the Tech BA will:• Analyse current business processes and establish the full picture • Identify technical needs and problems to solve based on thorough analysis • Structure and scope requirements into technical projects • Design end-to-end solutions, propose implementation options and provide evaluations • Create and maintain product and project specifications with exceptionally high level of accuracy • Manage functional/technical knowledge and content and drive outstanding questions towards closureThe Technical Business Analyst should have:• STEM degree • Been a developer and still have an understanding of hands on code • Experience in technical business analysis • Strong requirement elicitation skills: ability to capture, conceptualize and structure requirements to simple, concise and comprehensive requirement specifications to minimize requirement gaps • Good understanding on software/hardware concepts, software architecture design and software development lifecycle (Waterfall or Agile) • Knowledge of various asset classes in either listed or OTC financial instruments such as Equities, Futures, Options and Fixed Income instruments • Hands-on programming experience is required, preferably in Python My client automates as much as they can because it reduces human error and the team holds the view that automating is also enjoyable and that should be how you also see it.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the highest skilled trading teams around with a deep culture of sharing knowledge and experimentation with technology.My client is based in London hybrid working is available
