Daventry, NorthamptonshireFull Time | PermanentAmegA Sciences plc, part of the global ICL Group, is looking for a Senior Research Chemist I to join our Research & Development team.For over 40 years, AmegA Sciences has developed specialty products for the fertiliser and surfactant industries, supporting the Agricultural, Horticultural and Amenity sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable solutions that improve nutrient and water use efficiency.What you will do:Design and conduct laboratory experiments to support new product developmentDevelop and evaluate formulations for agricultural, horticultural and turf applicationsCarry out stability, analytical and compatibility testingAnalyse and document results, producing technical reports and methodologiesSupport product scale-up and troubleshooting activitiesCollaborate with Production, Quality, Sales and Marketing teamsConduct literature and IP reviews to support research projectsEnsure compliance with laboratory safety and COSHH requirementsWhat we're looking for:Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific disciplineLaboratory experience within R&D, formulation or product developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and record keepingStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsFull UK driving licenceWhy join us?Be part of a global organisation with the backing of the ICL GroupWork on innovative technologies with real-world impactCollaborate with experienced scientists and industry expertsDevelop your career in a supportive and growing R&D environmentInterested?
