Job SummaryAn outstanding opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading and award-winning management consultancies, renowned for delivering high-quality advisory services.This organization has firmly asserted themselves as a business pivotal to the provision of first-class consultancy services to a variety of prestigious clients across the built environment encompassing assets, regeneration, housing, investment, procurement, JV partnerships and strategy.Their team supports notable clients on some of the UK’s most significant development and regeneration programmes — helping them navigate complex financial and commercial challenges, assess investment opportunities and make confident, evidence-based decisions.As part of the continued growth and expansion, they now have an exemplary opportunity for a Consultant or a Senior Consultant with good financial analytical and modelling skills to join their well-structured and dynamic team.The Opportunity This is a varied and intellectually stimulating role where you will work across a broad portfolio of projects providing expert financial analysis and modelling that will directly inform high level strategic decisions, helping clients to understand complex scenarios and develop practical recommendations.In addition, you will contribute to and facilitate the delivery of illustrious projects spanning major regeneration schemes, housing and property development, infrastructure programmes, investment strategies and public-private partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping robust financial analysis and models across a diverse range of projects.Supporting strategic decision-making across property, housing development, regeneration, asset strategy and investment.Assist with and facilitate the preparation of development appraisals for property and regeneration projects.Advising clients on the financial, economic and commercial implications of projects and developing strategic recommendations.Developing business plans, business cases and options appraisals.Supporting the development of investment and funding strategies, including public-private partnerships, joint ventures and trading companies.Providing specialist financial analysis and modelling expertise to wider project teams.Working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.About YouMy client is looking for an analytical and commercially minded individual from a finance and preferably professional services consulting business with exposure to property, real estate, regeneration, infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.Degree educated grade 2.1 and in above in Accounting & Finance or Economics etcPart or full ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or CFA qualificationProficient with either building Excel based financial models OR maintaining and updating existing modelsPrior experience supporting consulting projects for either public or private sector clients in relation to a variety of assignments including assets (operational property portfolios, regeneration and development schemes, funding or infrastructureBackground in financial analysis, audit and or advisory servicesProven track record providing financial or economic analysis across a variety of areas including property and real estate development projects, infrastructure, renewable energy, funding, debt or risk etc Finally, you will have a calm and confident demeanor with exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary, C-Suite and Senior Leadership teams in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.For further information or a discreet conversation, please feel free to call Jeremy Wright at Macdonald & Company via email or call using .
