This is a highly visible role where you can combine strategic project leadership with hands-on sourcing experience and collaborate with stakeholders across the EMEA organization.Your daily tasks:Lead sourcing de-risking projects from initial scoping through sourcing execution, implementation, and stabilizationPartner with Category Managers to define project objectives, priorities, timelines, success criteria, and dependenciesCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and ensure focus on the highest-impact risks and opportunitiesLead initiatives such as dual sourcing, re-sourcing, supplier transfers, capacity expansions, and cost or risk optimizationOwn assigned sourcing activities end-to-end, including stakeholder alignment, RFQ preparation and execution, supplier engagement, evaluation, recommendations, supplier nomination, and implementationDevelop and manage project plans, milestones, risks, mitigation actions, and performance metricsEnsure projects follow TE sourcing policies, governance and approval processes, as well as relevant quality, compliance, safety, ITAR/EAR, and customer requirementsAct as the central point of coordination between Category Management, manufacturing plants, suppliers, and cross-functional teamsMonitor project progress, identify constraints and execution gaps, and drive timely resolution of issuesTrack benefits related to risk reduction, supply continuity, capacity, cost, and supplier performancePrepare clear project updates, dashboards, and presentations for business and senior leadershipSupport Category Managers by taking operational ownership of sourcing and RFQ execution, enabling them to focus on category strategy, supplier relationships, and long-term roadmapsYour ideal background:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, or Continuous ImprovementProven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a global, matrix organizationStrong knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, including RFQs, supplier evaluation, awarding, and implementationExperience with supplier transitions, dual sourcing, supply continuity, de-risking, or supply chain resilience initiativesExperience working with manufacturing plants, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers, preferably in a manufacturing-intensive or Aerospace & Defense environmentStrong project management skills and experience working with structured methodologies, governance models, and performance trackingAbility to influence and align stakeholders without direct authorityExcellent communication skills in EnglishNice to Have:PMI / Project Management certificationLean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement certificationChange Management certification, e.g. ProsciExperience in supplier risk mitigation, supply chain resilience, or business continuity programs#jobsEMEAAKCompetenciesABOUT TE CONNECTIVITYTE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
