Reference: DSQJ _ Solicitor - Residential Property - Devon - HybridAn established and growing law firm is seeking a Senior Residential Property Solicitor to join its Residential Property team in Plymouth. This is a strategic appointment offering the opportunity to combine a high-quality caseload with a leadership role, supporting the Head of Residential Property in the supervision, development and success of the wider team.The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of residential conveyancing matters while playing an active role in mentoring colleagues, driving performance and contributing to the continued growth of the department.Key responsibilities include:Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, from instruction through to post-completion.Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build transactions and shared ownership matters.Providing expert legal advice, undertaking due diligence and drafting and negotiating contracts and associated documentation.Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.Building strong relationships with clients and referrers, contributing to business development and supporting departmental growth.The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX Lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) and a strong background in residential property law.
