Senior Associate – Restructuring & Insolvency

Our client is seeking a driven Senior Associate (5–7 PQE) to join its growing Restructuring & Insolvency team in London. You will work on complex, high-profile matters, across both contentious and non-contentious mandates, advising a broad range of stakeholders.You will take on significant responsibility from day one – leading transactions, managing matters independently and collaborating across practices and jurisdictions, while contributing to business development and to the team’s continued growth.The role:Advising stakeholders, including insolvency office holders, lenders, directors, investors and corporatesLeading distressed M&A transactions across a variety of sectorsSupporting boards through financial stress, including advising on directors’ duties and restructuring optionsDrafting, reviewing and negotiating restructuring and insolvency documentationHandling appointments and related court applicationsDelivering clear, commercial advice on complex legal issuesSupporting client development and thought leadership initiatives.About You:5-7 years’ PQE in Restructuring and Insolvency from a respected law firmExperience across contentious and non-contentious mattersStrong technical and commercial understanding of insolvency frameworksExcellent communication, negotiation and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple matters and analyse complex informationAwareness of cross-border issues and regulatory considerations.What is on offer:Hybrid working – typically three days in the London officeHoliday – 25 days plus an additional discretionary day, with option to buy moreEnhanced family leave – up to 26 weeks’ full pay (after one year’s service)Comprehensive flexible benefits package.Location: LondonRegion: London (Greater)Country: UKSalary: 135,000 - 155,000Specialisation: Insolvency & RestructuringSector: Law firmRole Position: Senior AssociateContract Type: PermanentHours: Full TimeExperience Level: Senior Level (5-10+ years)PQE: 4-6 years, 7+ yearsReference Number: LWK-PL-18082
