Job Overview

Due to expansion of service, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to Service Users' needs, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. These positions offer an opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where your efforts directly enhance the quality of life for those in your care.

We are recruiting home care assistants to cover both full time and part time rotas in Dungiven. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy.

We work a 4/3 rota pattern – Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday – Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We have morning and afternoon rotas available beginning 07:00 – 18:30.

For mums with no childcare or for students who are at college/university during the day, the bed rotas offer a flexible option to earn extra money.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Able to promote and deliver person centred care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Be well organised / professional / caring
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in
• QCF level 3 in H & SC
