We are looking for an experienced Tracheostomy Complex Carer to support an individual with complex health needs in their home in Devizes. You will deliver safe, person-centred care and manage all aspects of tracheostomy and respiratory support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tracheostomy care including suctioning, stoma care, and emergency management.
Monitor breathing and overall wellbeing, escalating concerns promptly.
Support with personal care, mobility, and daily routines.
Manage enteral feeding and medication (as trained).
Maintain accurate care records and follow all clinical and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience in tracheostomy care.
Current tracheostomy/suctioning training and competency.
Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK.
Reliable, calm, and confident in responding to emergencies.
Desirable
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
Experience with PEG feeding, ventilation, or neurological conditions.
