HGV Class 1 Day Driver role at Evri (Avonmouth). Day shifts typically start around 13:00. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week, usually 5 shifts out of 7 with rotas given in advance. "HGV Class 1 Day Drivers" (Cat C+E) join a growing Avonmouth depot.
What You’ll Do
Drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring safe, efficient driving from depots to clients and other EVri sites.
Ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; update paperwork; assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time.
Keep the team updated on any problems on the road so we can find alternative routes as needed.
What We Can Offer You
£17.29 per hour (£16.50 per hour plus £0.79 seasonal allowance) with overtime rate of £24.75 once full-time hours are completed.

Essential Skills & Experience
Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlements, Driver’s CPC and digital tachograph.
Newly-qualified drivers welcome; a short driving assessment will be undertaken.
Excellent communication skills; safety-first mindset; reasonable physical fitness.
