Catering Assistant (Buxton, High Peak, Glossop, Hope Valley & Bakewell area - Relief)

We are currently recruiting for a relief Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated catering team in Glossop, Buxton, High Peak, Hope Valley & Bakewell Areas. You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas across the Derbyshire. This may involve working at a production unit or at a servery unit.

Possible tasks include:

• Food preparation
• Cooking
• Portion control
• Allergen compliance
• Preparing the dining room for service

Our Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.

Access to a car would be an advantage but not essential. Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment.
