We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part‑Time Morning Care Assistant to join our team in Ringwood. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals, helping them to start their day with a smile. Your role will involve assisting clients with their morning routines, providing companionship, and ensuring they have everything they need to enjoy their day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as helping them get up in the morning.
• Prepare nutritious breakfasts and ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage in conversations, activities, and outings that enrich the client’s life.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments or on short outings if required.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, wellbeing, and environment.

Hours

Part‑time mornings, including weekends on a rota basis. Specific hours to be discussed at interview.

Ideal Candidate

• No previous experience required – we welcome new entrants to the care profession.
• A warm, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and provide references.
• Driving Licence and Reliable Vehicle is required.
