Salary: £34k Per Annum plus company benefits; £27k per annum live onsite option .

The Opportunity

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to oversee a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.

The Role

• High Volume Experience Essential
• You will manage a catering team to ensure that the catering operations run smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times.
• You will manage a team of chefs and catering assistants.
• You will prepare, cook and serve food, always adhering to procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.
• The role is working 5 days out of 7, 42 hours per week with overtime available.
• Shift patterns will be either 5.30am – 1.30pm or 1.30pm – 8.30pm.

The Ideal Applicant

• Experienced Head/Sous Chef from a high-volume background, with experience managing large teams and working within a busy environment.
• An enhanced DBS check is required.
• Qualifications include Level 3 Food Safety and allergen management.
• City & Guilds 7061 and 7062 or NVQ equivalent.
• Management qualifications and proven experience of coaching and mentoring your team.
