Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver who takes pride in safety, professionalism, and customer service? We are expanding our distribution team and looking for reliable drivers to join us in a full-time, permanent role .
Responsibilities
Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores (mainly DIY outlets)
Possible raw timber (log) movements between sites
Vehicle checks, secure load strapping, and completion of delivery paperwork
Driving safely and compliantly in line with EU Driving Hours and WTD regulations
What we\'re looking for
HGV Class 1 licence with valid Driver CPC & Digi Tacho Card
Minimum 2 years experience driving Class 1 vehicles
Confident in securing loads (flatbed strapping experience essential)
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
Professional, safety-conscious, and reliable
What you\'ll get
Minimum 45 hours per week (overtime available)
Monday to Friday no weekend runs
£26.20 night-out allowance, up to 4 nights per week
