Apex Pre‑School are looking for a Nursery Assistant Apprentice
As a Nursery Assistant Apprentice, you will be studying toward your Early Years Educator Level 3 while working with children aged 2‑5 years old in a term‑time only Pre‑School setting.
Responsibilities
Identify and meet children’s individual needs; promote positive relationships with children and develop friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.
Be a positive, practical role model, supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their safety and following safeguarding procedures.
Depending on your level of qualification, carry out a range of interactive tasks: setting up activities, reading stories, playing games, helping at meal times, assisting with nappy changing and toileting, joining in play and creative activities.
Assist in ensuring the Pre‑School meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Adhere to all health and safety policies and be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures.
