2026 UK Advanced Apprenticeship Programme at Mott MacDonald. Join to apply for the 2026 UK Advanced Apprenticeship Programme role at Mott MacDonald. These opportunities are for those who have (or are working towards) GCSEs and are looking to undertake an advanced level apprenticeship (level 3). Applications close on 31st December. Opportunities are available in England and Northern Ireland. For Scotland, please review the Scottish modern apprenticeship programme. You may submit one application per candidate.
In your application, you will select your preferred discipline, sector and location. Read the descriptions to decide which opportunity is right for you.
If offered an apprenticeship, you will be informed who the training provider (college) will be for that opportunity. Providers have their own grade entry requirements, but most will expect a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English, Mathematics and/or a Science at grade 4/C. Details of grades needed will be requested during the application process.
As a paid apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience on real-world projects and complete classroom-based learning with a reputable college or training provider. Upon completion, you’ll earn a nationally recognised qualification that can lead to exciting career opportunities.
Advanced apprenticeships typically last around two to three years and are designed to help you grow professionally and personally. You’ll be part of a team shaping tomorrow’s world through innovation, sustainability, or community impact.
Specific opportunities are available in our energy teams in Belfast, Brighton and Bristol, and in our central IT team in Newcastle.
We offer a three-year early careers soft skills development programme – Accelerating your Future – designed to give you the skills and tools for a long-lasting career at Mott MacDonald. You’ll receive mentorship, learning resources, and a supportive culture built on trust, integrity, and care.
We foster equality, diversity and inclusion, agile working, and a culture of collaboration and care. Our purpose is to improve society through excellence and digital innovation while respecting each person’s differences.
