A leading provider of diesel and gas engines is offering an exciting opportunity in their automotive division for a talented Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician .
Responsibilities
Deliver expert mechanical support to ensure consistent, high-quality data output; manage equipment breakdowns; install and upgrade facility systems; and maintain complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams; lead improvement initiatives; and support the development of apprentices.
Apply a strong foundation in engineering and diagnostics to help keep the facility at the forefront of engine development and validation, while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Completion of a full indentured engineering apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
Proven experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across mechanical systems.
Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic or fuel systems.
Subject matter knowledge in mechanical maintenance, pneumatics/hydraulics, or pipe fitting.
Familiarity with laser alignment of rotating equipment.
