About the employer
Supporting a middle-aged gentleman living with his wife and 3 young children. Who has had an ulcer for the past 7 years and due to the poor circulation in his legs it is slowly drying up. Also unsteady with mobility, possible high risk of falls.
Responsibilities
- Assist employer to go to places of interest, for example going to gym, dropping, and picking up kids from school, attending various activity centres with them, shopping with them, accompanying me to go out with or without family/friends to functions or any event.
- Assistance to attend any appointments, example GP, Hospital.
- Assistance when going out for a walk, support when going in and out the car, accessing vehicle
- Shopping for pleasure
- Assistance with correspondence – phone calls / letter writing
- Assistance with any other identified leisure activities.
- Would like to attend the Temple on a weekly basis
Personal care
- Being around/present when employer is showering / bathing
- Being around/present if support required during dressing and undressing
- Assistance, encouraging employer with physical activities,
Domestic Duties
- Assistance with serving food and drinks
- Preparing and cooking food, making snack
- Assistance with shopping

Hours of work
6 hours per week – hours to use as employer requires
Possible times to be employed
Monday – Sunday 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Saturday – Sunday 9.30am – 10.30am
Rate of pay: £14.20 per hour

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
