We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Caregiver to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. This role offers the perfect opportunity to provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Accompany clients to appointments or on outings when required
Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care coordinator
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Respond promptly and professionally to clients' needs and emergencies
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their lives
Availability to work alternative weekends, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts
Valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanour
Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic understanding of elderly care and common age-related conditions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management and organisational skills
Reliability and punctuality in attending scheduled shifts
Willingness to learn and adapt to clients' individual needs and preferences
Residence within or commutable distance to BA1 and BA2 areas of Bath
