Behaviour Mentor

Are you experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and looking for a rewarding new opportunity? We are currently recruiting a committed Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive team in St Helens . This is an immediate start position.

Your Role

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils manage behaviour and build confidence
• Deliver tailored strategies to support engagement, learning, and emotional regulation
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support
• Track progress and positively reinforce achievements
• Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience, independence, and self-esteem

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN or additional needs
• Strong behaviour management skills with a calm and consistent approach
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, adaptable, and supportive attitude
