Senior Warehouse Prep Technician

Area of Work:
Warehouse, across both Adlib and triplex

Line Manager:
Warehouse Operations Manager

Working alongside:
Assisting Warehouse Operations Manager and Technical Project Managers in day-to-day operations including the prep, dispatch, return and de-prep of all equipment, with a focus on custom rack building and bespoke client preparation for touring artists.

Primary Role

Assisting Warehouse Operations Manager and Technical Project Managers in day-to-day operations including the prep, dispatch, return and de-prep of all equipment, with a focus on custom rack building and bespoke client preparation for touring artists.

Main Responsibilities

• All custom stage racks prep & de-prep, assisting with other equipment within the warehouse
• Maintaining equipment standards
• Using rack drawings for building bespoke projects
• Loading & unloading of vehicles
• Ensuring deadlines are met under pressure
• Scheduling and monitoring of any safety testing that may be necessary
• Scheduling and monitoring of any necessary software updates (where applicable)
• Upholding Health & Safety Standards
• Monthly weekend on-call cover

Documentation/Reporting Responsibilities

• Ensure all documentation is up to date and present
• Report faults, damages or missing equipment
• Maintaining all rental equipment

Deputy Responsibilities

• Cover of duties for Warehouse Operatives and Technical Project Managers in their absence – E.G Designing and drawing project documentation.
• Prioritising workload based on short and long-term requirements
• Interest in Live Production Industry
• Competent IT Skills
• Technical minded with ability to problem solve
• Competent with hand tools

• Ability to work as part of a team

Skills &Qualifications

• Fork Lift Truck
• First Aid
• PAT Test
• Any relevant qualifications covering but not limited to: DiGiCo, Dante, Yamaha, Avid, Sennheiser and Shure

Experience

• Previous Warehouse experience
• Previous experience building racks for Audio rental*
• Experience in Live Production Industry
