London
Are you looking to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families? Do you enjoy making improvements to the way things are done?
Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are recruiting for a full-time Personalised Commissioning Officer to join our Children's Services workforce. This a fixed-term post to cover Maternity Leave (from 8-12 months). Are you passionate about helping vulnerable children? Want to be part of a motivated team who work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Then this may be the job for you! The Personalised Commissioning Team identifies solutions that support children to receive stable, loving care in a place that they can call home ensuring they are in safe and loving homes. We build collaborative relationships with social workers and with providers in the children's care market and source and negotiate bespoke packages of accommodation, care and support for children. The right candidate will lead and manage the commissioning of individual support packages, working with children's social workers, service leaders in social care and a range of independent and voluntary sector providers, including independent sector fostering agencies, supported accommodation and residential homes to develop relationships and secure provision that meets Greenwich's requirements and standards. Make a difference to our children's futures, your future and ours. Join us to support a new vision for Commissioning in Children Services.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council and the South East London Integrated Care Board have come together to create an integrated approach to commissioning services within Greenwich. We've developed a new long-term vision with the help of residents and partner organisations, which will build on all our strengths to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families.
