Governance & Committee Coordinator

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at supporting senior stakeholders in busy environments? This is a great opportunity to coordinate vital meetings and contribute to professional governance support.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require an immediate start, notice periods cannot be accommodated.

Temporary Governance & Committee Coordinator Responsibilities

• Coordinating committee and council meetings, including organising agendas, papers, logistics, and minute-taking.
• Maintaining accurate and accessible records of all committee documentation.
• Tracking actions arising from meetings and following up with stakeholders to ensure progress.
• Supporting with meeting logistics, including preparing materials and managing schedules.
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with committee members and senior stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with governance procedures and standard practices.
• Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks related to governance and committee support.

Temporary Governance & Committee Coordinator Rewards

£15.38-£16.41 per hour, plus holiday pay, paid weekly via PAYE.

37.5 hours per week

Initial assignment likely lasting at least three months, with potential to become a permanent role.

Temporary Governance & Committee Coordinator Experience Essentials

• Proven experience supporting meetings, minute-taking, or administration in a professional environment.
• Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in a busy setting is desirable.
