Role Overview
Multis UK Limited is hiring a Junior Backend Developer to work on production systems and online marketplace projects. The position offers flexible employment options (part-time, full-time, or contract) in a remote work setup.
Key Responsibilities
Develop backend features using PHP and SQL, and maintain REST APIs.
Manage database operations, search systems, and external integrations.
Perform bug fixing, testing, and application performance optimizations.
Utilize modern AI development tools with guidance from senior engineering staff.
Key Requirements
Core Technical Knowledge: Basic familiarity with PHP (or another backend language), SQL, Git, and REST APIs.
Soft Skills: Strong logical and analytical thinking, willingness to learn, and reliable communication within a remote team environment.
Hands-on experience with PHP 8+, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), automated testing, or AI coding assistants.
