RowanfieldInfant School, part of Gloucestershire Learning Alliance, is looking to appointa dedicated Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position to join oursupportive and welcoming school community.

What youwill be doing

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning that enables allpupils to make strong progress.
• Planning, preparing and assessing learning in line with thecurriculum and the needs of individual pupils.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environmentwhere children feel safe and valued.
• Monitoring and supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotionaldevelopment.
• Working closely with colleagues, parents and carers to supportpupil achievement and wellbeing.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and upholding thevalues and expectations of the Trust.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learningpractices.
• Demonstrates high expectations for all pupils and a commitment toinclusive education.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, families andcolleagues.
• Is organised, reflective and committed to continual professionaldevelopment.
• Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively tothe school community.

It would be desirable if you:

• Have experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage orKey Stage 1.
• Have experience of using assessment information to inform planningand improve outcomes.
• Have experience of working successfully with pupils with a range ofneeds and abilities.
