# CNC Milling Machinist (Night-Shift)Full timeAs an Operative, Machinist (Night Shift), you will manufacture precision-engineered components that support the performance of McLaren Racing. Working within a skilled machining team, you will set and operate multi-axis CNC machines to deliver high-quality components safely, accurately, and on time during the night shift operation.### What You'll Do* Set and operate multi-axis CNC machining centres to manufacture high-precision components.* Produce parts from engineering drawings and job packs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery.* Carry out online programming and maintain tooling, program, and inspection records.* Inspect components to ensure right-first-time quality standards.* Work closely with manufacturing teams to improve machining methods, productivity, and performance.Company DescriptionAt McLaren, our mission is to set the standard for high performance in sport. High performance starts with you.Qualifications### What You'll Bring* Proven experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machining centres, with milling experience.* Recognised Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent, with proven CNC machining experience.* Strong experience setting and operating multi-axis machining centres.* Experience producing precision components in a high-performance manufacturing environment.* Online CNC programming capability and a strong understanding of machining processes.* Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, and inspection techniques.### Personal Attributes* Strong communicator who works effectively within a team.* Self-motivated, dependable, and focused on delivering quality results.* Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.* Proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.* Professional, respectful, and composed under pressure.Additional InformationSuccess in racing comes from bringing together talented people with different skills, perspectives and experiences.
