Compensation Overview

• On-target earnings: Up to £33,725
• Base salary: £31,025
• Monthly bonus scheme: Average additional earnings of £2,700 per year
• Work schedule: 44-hour week, 8am - 6pm shifts over 5 days, including 1 in 2 weekends

Your Role

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician at Halfords, you'll be part of our growing Mobile Expert team, delivering workshop-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair work right at our customers' homes and workplaces. With a fully equipped van and smart technology at your fingertips, you'll manage your own day, build trusted customer relationships, and utilize your technical skills to keep the nation moving.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same! You'll use your technical expertise across a wide range of tasks, including:

• Interim, Full, and Major vehicle services
• Battery and Dashcam fitting
• Vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics
• Tyre fitting, puncture repairs, and wheel balancing
• Air conditioning servicing and re-gassing

What We're Looking For

• NVQ level 2 or level 3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or time-served experience)
• Proven experience in a vehicle servicing & maintenance role
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Great communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers
