Cartef is a care home in Hay-on-Wye, specialising in dementia care. The facility offers a comfortable, supportive environment with personalised care tailored to the needs of each resident. Job Responsibilities
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:
- Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan
- Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
- Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
- Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
- Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
