Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to primary-aged pupils with SEN.
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, communication difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs, where appropriate.
Helping pupils access the curriculum through adapted learning activities and individualised support.
Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.
Supporting pupils to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills.
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils and school staff.
Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs.

Following safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of all children.

About You

You will ideally have:

Previous experience working with children with SEN or additional needs.
Experience within a primary school, specialist provision or a similar educational setting.
A calm, nurturing and positive approach.
The ability to build strong relationships with children and encourage positive behaviour.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The confidence to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
A genuine commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Candidates with relevant experience in education, childcare, support work or care are encouraged to apply.
