Start Date: End of January 2027

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

Are you a qualified SEND Teacher with experience teaching pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated SEND school in Sale, Trafford. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils with additional needs, with a strong focus on helping every young person reach their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teacher to work Monday to Wednesday on a part-time maternity cover basis from the end of January 2027. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils across KS3 and KS4 with PMLD, delivering engaging lessons and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning and communication needs.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working within a SEND school or specialist provision
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD
• Experience teaching pupils across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
