We are looking for a confidentCare & Support Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You’ll be working full time42hours a week,12hour shifts, including alternate weekends (4 shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), Days only,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Oxley Woodhouse.

Oxley Woodhouse is a specialist residential service in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and behaviours that may challenge.

Your day-to-day…

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend things like work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning

• Salary: £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour after three months (£29,435.70 first year), rising to £13.70ph after 18 months
