Therapeutic Radiographer
The closing date is 25 October 2026
This is an exciting opportunity to begin or develop your therapeutic radiographer career at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care. We are a forward-thinking service with a programme of innovation, including MRI-based planning, Hypersight, SGRT and online adaptive solutions.
As part of our friendly and supportive team, you will contribute to the delivery of radiotherapy treatments to approximately 8,000 patients each year, across both adult and paediatric services. Using the latest Varian and Siemens technology we routinely deliver VMAT, gating, SABR, SRS, daily IGRT, SXT, TBI and TSEI.
We are committed to supporting your development with an established structured training programme rotating through pre-treatment and treatment sections, enabling you to build confidence and develop a broad range of clinical skills. There are opportunities to become involved in extended practice as your experience grows.
Newly qualified radiographers are encouraged to apply and are supported through our Trust Preceptor programme to guide you through your transition into clinical practice and build a strong foundation for your career.
As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.
