As an Operations Manager in the logistics department, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of operations to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.

A FMCG Logistics organisation based in Chepstow, specialising in the smooth delivery for customers across the South West.

Description

• Manage daily logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient processes.
• Monitor and improve operational performance and productivity.
• Oversee inventory control and stock management systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the logistics environment.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Lead and motivate the logistics team to achieve targets and objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

• Experience in logistics or supply chain management within the retail industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in operational systems and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a logistics setting.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commutable daily to Chepstow

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
• Day shift schedule in a logistics environment.
• Permanent position based in Chepstow.
