Bilfinger UK is seeking a Progress Coordinator to oversee accurate capture, validation, and reporting of NSSS installation progress on the Hinkley…
Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs.
We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.
The Progress Coordinator is responsible for the accurate capture, validation, and reporting of installation progress for NSSS piping and mechanical works on the Hinkley Point C project. Reporting into the Planning function, the role provides a critical link between site execution and project controls, ensuring that progress data reflects verified physical completion and quality status in line with HPC governance requirements.
The role supports the integrity of the Level 4 programme by working closely with Construction, QA/QC, and Project Controls teams to monitor performance against plan, identify deviations on the critical path, and highlight emerging risks to programme delivery. A key part of the role is to ensure that all progress and delay information is robustly recorded, auditable, and aligned with both planning and commercial processes.
Operating within a highly regulated nuclear environment, the Progress Coordinator must demonstrate strong attention to detail, disciplined data management, and the confidence to challenge inconsistencies. The position contributes directly to programme certainty, productivity visibility, and effective decision-making, supporting safe, compliant, and right-first-time delivery of NSSS installation works.

Experience on major EPC projects or Tier 1 contractor environments
Previous experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or other highly regulated sectors
Exposure to piping/mechanical installation works, including welding and NDT processes as well as installation and inspection workflows
Experience working within a multi-contractor site environment with complex interfaces
Involvement in:
Delay capture and disruption records
Supporting commercial claims or schedule analysis
Experience aligning progress reporting with system/sub-system handover and commissioning milestones
Experience using Primavera P6 and Excel in a live project environment
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction-related discipline
