Location: Central London (5 days in the office)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams, providing commercially focused financial insight.
  • Develop COGS and cost-variance reporting across products and sales channels.

  • Maintain accurate bills of materials as products, packaging and suppliers change.
  • Review supplier invoices against expected landed costs.
  • Produce gross-margin reporting by product and channel, clearly explaining movements and key drivers.
  • Support month-end close, including balance-sheet reconciliations, FX revaluations and intercompany accounting.
  • Assist with the company’s first-year audit and ERP implementation.
  • Provide costing and margin modelling for new products, formats and international launches.
  • Support forecasting, scenario planning and finance-process automation.
  • Deliver analysis directly to the founders and senior leadership team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and management-accounting processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Experience using tools such as Power Query, macros, Power Automate or AI-enabled reporting solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to operate where processes and controls are still being developed.

Experience within FMCG, consumer products, D2C or another rapidly scaling business would be beneficial. Exposure to ERP implementation, multi-entity accounting or a first-year audit would also be advantageous.

Benefits include:

  • Company equity scheme.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Modern Central London office.
  • The opportunity to build and improve processes rather than simply inherit them.
  • Direct exposure to founders and senior leadership.
