Join a team where your insight can help shape the future of business transformation across a growing renewable energy business.
At VWV, we're always looking for better ways to work. Our Digital Delivery team plays an important role in improving the systems, processes and technology that help our people do their best work and deliver a great service to our clients.
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Digital Delivery team in Bristol at an exciting time for VWV. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting to the heart of a problem, understanding what people really need and turning complex ideas into clear, practical solutions.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm, as well as Project Managers, Delivery, Architecture, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams. Your role will be to understand what needs to change, why it matters and what success looks like, helping everyone involved work towards the same outcome.
You'll work with stakeholders to understand business needs, explore how things work today and help define how they could work better in the future.
You'll be comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions and looking beyond the initial request to understand the real problem. You'll then turn your analysis into clear, proportionate outputs that give delivery teams what they need to move forward.
You'll also help make sure requirements are clear and testable, working closely with Quality Assurance and other delivery colleagues throughout the change lifecycle.
Day to day, you'll:
We're not looking for someone who simply takes notes and writes down what they're told. You'll be a constructive challenger, comfortable asking "why?" and bringing structure to situations where the answer isn't immediately clear.
We're looking for someone with practical experience in Business Analysis, ideally within a business change, technology or digital delivery environment.
You'll ideally have experience of:
Experience within professional services or the legal sector would be useful, but it's not essential.
You'll be naturally curious and analytical, with the confidence to ask questions and challenge constructively. You'll be comfortable working with ambiguity and able to turn an unclear starting point into something structured and understood.
You'll also need strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical colleagues and build positive relationships across the firm.
At VWV we have a truly unique and engaging culture that we hold dear. We work hard but we also love to have fun and we recognise that it's the social interaction between us that really shapes our culture.
Whilst we work to a hybrid model, for this role we would like you to work from our Bristol office for a minimum of two days per week. In this way, you'll benefit first-hand from our warm and friendly culture as well as facilitate cross referral opportunities from your colleagues in other teams. We are of course happy to discuss any specific requirements of hybrid working with candidates on an individual basis.
There are so many reasons to stop and explore VWV further. We're known for our friendly and welcoming culture where teamwork and collaboration are key. There's no pigeon-huling or glass ceilings here, just a professional yet relaxed culture where you can finally be yourself. We invite you to watch this short video on the right-hand side to see what our own people have to say about us.
We're striving to be an inclusive employer, to create a workplace and environment that promotes and values diversity, where everyone, regardless of background, can reach their full potential. Contact our recruiter to discuss any adjustments needed so we can make this the best possible candidate experience for you.
