Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Radiographer to rotate across MRI and CT, provide senior clinical support, and lead radiology…
We are looking for committed and motivated radiographers who are skilled in MRI and/or CT and who can contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality imaging services within a busy community setting.
At WG CDC, we aim to support staff to develop professionally and work confidently within the full scope of their role. We recognise that staff wellbeing, development and a supportive working environment are important to maintaining high standards of patient care.
As a Band 7 Radiographer, you will be expected to rotate across both modalities, provide senior clinical support within the department, manage the work area when required and offer professional advice and supervision to radiographers, students and radiographic assistants. The role includes responsibility for maintaining safe clinical standards, supporting patient flow, reviewing image quality and contributing to the daily running of CT and MRI services.
The post holder will also contribute to the development of radiology services across the Trust, supporting audit, quality assurance, training and service improvement. There will be opportunities to take on line management responsibilities, including rostering, appraisal, staff development, performance management and sickness absence management.

The Trust works closely with NHS, social care and voluntary sector partners to provide coordinated care and improve outcomes for local communities. It is also a major teaching organisation, supporting the education and development of healthcare professionals.
Our mission is to help local people live longer, healthier lives by providing safe, personal and coordinated care.
Our ICARE values guide how we work with patients, colleagues and partner organisations, with a focus on compassion, accountability, respect and high standards of care.
