Community and Regional Fundraising Manager – NI Barnardo's
Belfast City District
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Community and Regional Fundraising Manager based in Northern Ireland to join our Public Fundraising…
Barnardo's is looking for an energetic, relationship-focused and commercially aware Regional Manager to help deliver one of our most important corporate partnerships — our UK-wide partnership with The Co-op Group.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile, multi-channel partnership that engages colleagues, customers and suppliers across the UK. Working as part of Barnardo's Corporate Partnerships team, you will help deliver regional fundraising activity, drive employee engagement, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the partnership.
You will be a key point of contact for Co-op colleagues in your region, providing excellent stewardship, identifying opportunities to grow income and profile, and ensuring partnership activity reflects Barnardo's values and brand. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver agreed plans, fundraising targets and engagement outcomes, while helping create a positive and inspiring supporter experience.
We are looking for someone with experience in corporate fundraising, account management, sales, marketing or a similarly target-driven environment, who knows how to build strong relationships and deliver results. You will need to be confident engaging with a wide range of people, both remotely and in person, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. A creative mindset, strong communication skills and a data-led approach to fundraising and stewardship will all be important in this role.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being outward-facing, spotting opportunities, turning ideas into action and working collaboratively to deliver impact. It is also a role for someone who values excellent account management, strong organisation and high standards of supporter care.
The role involves travel across the UK, including some evening work and overnight stays, so flexibility is important.
Up to 3 years, minimum of 12 months (due to funding)
We appreciate our colleagues' dedication and their commitment to delivering excellence in the vital work we do, driven by their passion and commitment to Barnardo's values.
We also know that we can only realise our ambitions and achieve better outcomes for more children, thanks to the talent, hard work and creativity of our people.
We are committed to a rounded colleague experience with an approach to both pay and rewards that are fair, attractive, and progressive. This is in support of our strategic ambition to ensure Barnardo's is a place everyone can belong, grow and thrive.
The salary range advertised is in line withour pay principles, for consistency and fairness while recognising the skills and experience applicants bring to the role. Appointing salaries can be discussed further at appointment stage; we do seek to appoint within this range always exercising responsible stewardship.
Our hybrid working initiative is based on trust, flexibility and empowerment. We understand our workplace offer means different things to different people, and we encourage those conversations. This may mean working at one of our stores, services, working at home, in the community, at one of our Collaboration Hubs or depending on the role any combination of these. Please read through the advert carefully to understand the remits of hybrid working that will be specific to the role.
Barnardo's require colleagues to be UK residents, based in the UK and to complete their roles from within the UK (with the exception of colleagues providing Barnardo's services in Jersey and colleagues who live in the Republic of Ireland providing services in Northern Ireland)
