Administrator - Minute Taking

Our Children's Social Care Directorate within Oldham Council is looking for individuals like you to join us in organising and taking minutes at our Child Protection Conferences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring meetings are accurately documented and that the views and perspectives of children, families, and professionals are captured.

What you will do:

• Send out invitations and prepare for Child Protection Case Conferences.
• Distribute key documents to professionals and families.
• Take minutes at conferences, ensuring accuracy and inclusiveness of all perspectives.
• Provide general business support while managing competing and changing priorities.
• Use computer packages effectively and communicate with a variety of audiences.
• Securely manage confidential and sensitive information to maintain trust and compliance.

We need you to have:

• Experience of taking minutes, ensuring succinct and accurate recording of details.
• Capability to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective information sharing.
• A solid understanding of the Data Protection Act to manage confidential information.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team within the Safeguarding Unit.
