Personal Assistants

I am looking for a team of 2-3 personal assistants to support my father to live independently in his own home. He's a gentle, friendly, sociable man who gets on well with carers and enjoys simple conversation. Daily Support PA

Schedule

• Two daily visits (8:00am & 12:00pm), 7 days a week.

Pay

£20/hr (PAYE employed - not suitable for self-employed)

Key tasks

• Catheter care
• Personal care - dressing, shower support, meals
• Light domestic tasks - tidy bedroom/bathroom, bedding, dishes

Looking for

• Kind, respectful, professional
• Reliable and punctual
• Independent worker
• Catheter care experience essential

Duties include

• Other relevant duties as required
• Housekeeping
• Dressing/undressing
• Heat up meals (simple meal preparation)

• Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Hygienic, tidy and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Honest and cheerful
• Creative
• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
• Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
