Year 5 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Could you be the someone special our children are waiting for?

At King\'s Academy Rowner, we are more than a school. We are 'Team Rowner': a vibrant, caring community where every child is empowered to flourish, and where staff are valued, supported and part of a special community.

We are looking for a Year 5 Class Teacher to join us as soon as possible, and we are happy to be flexible on full-time or part-time hours to suit the right person.

Don\'t just take our word for it

Ofsted said: "There is a shared sense of pride about being part of 'Team Rowner'. Leaders combine a strong sense of nurture with high expectations for pupils… Pupils behave well and work hard. Pupils feel safe and happy."

And one parent told us: "Rowner is one of the most caring and nurturing schools I know. The children are at the centre of everything they do… It is more a way of life than a school."

Our values of Honesty, Faith and Courage are at the heart of everything we do. We are ambitious for every pupil, and creativity, ambition and care go hand in hand here.

We\'d love to hear from you if you:

• Bring energy and enthusiasm that inspires children to love learning
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children, colleagues and families
• Share our belief that every child deserves the chance to reach their potential

Whether you\'re an experienced teacher looking for a supportive, high-performing team to grow with, or an Early Career Teacher keen to start your career with excellent support, there\'s a place for you here.

What you\'ll get from us:

• A warm, collaborative team with a real 'Team Rowner' spirit
• Children who are enthusiastic, well-behaved and eager to learn
• High-quality coaching, mentoring and professional development from experienced leaders
• A structured, supportive induction for ECTs
• The backing of King\'s Group Academies, a trust of 15 schools with wider career opportunities
• The chance to make a real and lasting difference in a thriving community
