Technical Assistant (Food Manufacturing)

Full time. Up to £29,000.00 per year, dependent on experience

Pay: Up to £29,000.00 per year, dependant on experienceJob Description: Technical Assistant (Food Manufacturing)Location: BreconSalary: CompetitiveHours: Full TimeJoin our Technical Team: We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Technical Assistant to join our growing Technical Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing who is passionate about food safety, quality, and ensuring customer requirements are consistently met.

What you'll be doing:

• Completing customer questionnaires and technical requests.
• Maintaining technical document control systems.
• Supporting traceability and mass balance exercises.
• Trending and reporting quality performance data.
• Assisting with microbiological and environmental monitoring programmes.
• Supporting in customer and third-party audits.
• Assisting with allergen and validation reporting.
• Maintaining technical systems and records.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in a food manufacturing technical role
• Knowledge of food safety and quality systems, preferably BRCGS.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
