Salary: £27,664 – £30,160 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, with regular pay reviews

At Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Soundwell, we are looking for a caring and motivated Room Leader for our 0–2 years room to join our friendly team.
Our nursery offers a warm, welcoming environment with bright, open‑plan rooms, a sensory room and beautiful gardens. We follow the Curiosity Approach, encouraging children to explore, discover and develop their confidence through play and exciting learning experiences.
With activities including sensory play, outdoor adventures, creative arts and our Health & Self programme, you will help our youngest children take their first steps on their learning journey.
What will you be doing?
- Leading and supporting the team within the 0–2 years room.
- Providing high‑quality care and age‑appropriate learning experiences for babies.
- Supporting children's individual development, wellbeing and milestones.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues to deliver the best possible care.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements are followed.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working in an early years setting, ideally with babies.
- Experience supporting or leading a team, or the motivation to take the next step into leadership.
- A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, positive approach and a genuine passion for early years education.
