Healthcare Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and eating.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to senior staff.
• Keep medical records updated and accurate.
• Support registered nurses in delivering high-quality care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Provide emotional and social support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is essential.
• Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital or care home setting.
• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
• A solid understanding of care practices and techniques.
• Ability to handle pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
• A compassionate and caring nature that shines through in your work.
• While not required, basic computer skills are beneficial.
