Contract: Term-time only (Monday to Friday, 36 weeks per year)Salary: £22,727 (£14.14 per hour)
Build confidence. Unlock potential. Help every learner thrive.
Some young people need more than classroom support. They need someone who understands them. Someone who can provide consistency, encouragement and belief when things feel difficult.
At St Elizabeth's School, you'll be that person. Because when a young person feels understood, they have a better chance to thrive.
Whether you're experienced in SEN education, support work, care, youth work, psychology, therapy support or another people-focused role, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact while building a rewarding career in specialist education.
No two days are the same, but every day you will help a young person achieve something they may not have thought possible.
Why Join St Elizabeth's?
St Elizabeth's is a leading national charity providing specialist education, care and health services for children, young people and adults with epilepsy, autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
Set within 60 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, our School, College, residential services and health teams work together to ensure that every individual can Live Life to the Full .
Our values — Aspirational, Collaborative, Joyful and Compassionate — shape everything we do.
We're interested in the person as much as your experience.

About the Role
This isn't a typical classroom support role.As a Behaviour Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with a small number of pupils, often providing 2:1 support , helping them feel settled, engaged and ready to take part in their day.
Our learners may experience challenges with communication, emotional regulation or behaviour. Your role will be to provide the consistency, structure and encouragement they need to navigate those challenges safely and positively.
You'll get to know each learner as an individual — what they enjoy, what helps them feel comfortable, what can be difficult for them and how best to support them.
You'll work alongside teachers, therapists and other professionals to put agreed strategies into practice and help create an environment where learners can develop their confidence and independence.
It's about understanding what someone needs, not simply reacting to what they do.
