Occupational Health Nurse
Leeds
As the UK's leading Social Enterprise, we move lives forward every day by building, managing and supporting thriving Communities.
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you'll play a key role in delivering occupational health surveillance, screening and testing programmes across Places for People. Working closely with the Senior Occupational Health Nurse, operational managers and People teams, you'll support the health and wellbeing of colleagues through routine health assessments and monitoring activities. You'll undertake health surveillance activities including audiometry, spirometry, vision testing and other health assessments, ensuring accurate records are maintained and confidential information is handled appropriately. You'll also identify outcomes requiring further assessment, support wellbeing initiatives and health promotion campaigns, and contribute to service improvements across PFP Medical. This is a mobile role and will require travel to Group locations to deliver occupational health clinics and assessments.
You're an organised and professional individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting colleague wellbeing. You can confidently manage your own workload, prioritise tasks effectively and work independently while remaining part of a wider team. You'll be comfortable building positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders and adapting your approach to suit different audiences. You understand the importance of confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information and take pride in delivering a high-quality service. Experience of audiometry and spirometry testing would be advantageous, as would experience working within construction, housing, maintenance, facilities management or other operational environments.
As the UK's leading Social Enterprise, we move lives forward every day by building, managing and supporting thriving Communities. From new homes, social housing and student accommodation to leisure, education and Community initiatives, our work makes a positive difference to millions of People across the UK.
