The programme length will be reflected in their Fixed Term Contract.

Why You Should Join Our Team Leeds Teaching Hospitals

Leeds Teaching Hospitals is committed to being the best place to work, and that starts with how we support, value and develop our people.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll be granted a permanent Clinical Support Worker role, as well as achieving a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Clinical Healthcare Support. We have a strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion and work-life balance. We value diversity and are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels respected, valued and able to thrive. Reasonable adjustments are available for disabled applicants. We offer a competitive salary from day one, plus access to excellent NHS benefits including retail discounts and a highly competitive pension scheme. Most importantly, you will benefit from working in a supportive environment where your voice is heard and your development is prioritised.

What You Will Bring to the Role

Above all, we are looking for people who genuinely want to care for others. This is a caring role at its heart, and compassion, kindness and respect are just as important as the clinical skills you'll develop throughout the apprenticeship.

You'll bring compassion, empathy and a genuine desire to support patients, along with the motivation to learn and grow throughout the apprenticeship. You don't need previous experience, just a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and the confidence to ask questions as you grow. Being reliable, patient and respectful will help you settle into the team, and your natural ability to communicate with others will make a real difference to the patients you meet. Most importantly, you'll bring curiosity, compassion and the motivation to develop new skills at a pace that feels manageable and supported.
