Regional Business Manager – Electronics / OEM

Location: South West England – Field Based

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded salesperson to join a global market leader in electronic components and technical solutions.

I'm working in partnership with a highly respected international manufacturer looking to appoint a Regional Business Manager to develop and manage customer relationships across the South West.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an electronics, engineering or OEM background who enjoys building relationships, understanding technical products and identifying commercial opportunities.

You don't necessarily need years of external sales experience. We're equally interested in speaking with ambitious Internal Sales Executives, Account Managers or Technical Sales professionals who feel ready to take the next step into a field-based position.

Equally, if you've already spent a couple of years developing a territory and are looking for a business that can offer genuine long-term career progression, we'd welcome a conversation.

The Role

• Develop and manage relationships with OEMs, manufacturers and engineering businesses across the South West.
• Identify new business opportunities whilst developing existing customer accounts.
• Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Build relationships with engineers, technical buyers, procurement teams and key decision-makers.
• Manage your own territory, customer visits and sales pipeline.
• Work alongside internal technical and commercial teams to deliver excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in speaking with intelligent, technically curious and commercially driven individuals who enjoy understanding how things work.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in sales, account management or business development within electronics, electronic components, engineering or an OEM environment.
• A genuine interest in technical products and solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with customers at different levels.
• A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach.
• The ambition to develop your career within a successful international business.
• A full, clean UK driving licence – essential.

Previous field sales experience would be advantageous but is certainly not essential. Attitude, intelligence, technical curiosity and commercial potential are equally important.

• Basic salary of £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
