The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum and be eager to contribute towards a supportive and ambitious learning environment. They will also have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire students and staff, whilst fostering a positive classroom culture to further promote learning. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the Sixth Form provision, ensuring that learners with SEMH needs receive high-quality education, pastoral support, careers guidance, and transition planning that enables them to move successfully into further education, employment, apprenticeships, supported internships, or independent living. The successful candidate will:

• Have recent successful teaching experience
• Have a strong commitment to ensuring excellent pupil progress
• Be dedicated to sharing responsibilities for raising standards
• Enjoy a collaborative style approach to working and learning
• Demonstrate knowledge of successful strategies for assessing and raising pupils' achievement
• Possess strong behaviour management skills
