• Overseeing the commercialisation strategy across the scheme and identifying opportunities to enhance income and performance.
• Supporting sustainability initiatives and environmental projects across the property.
• Working closely with senior directors and specialist teams to deliver client objectives and strategic projects.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and occupiers, including discussions around debt management, trading performance and opportunities to refresh or improve retail spaces.
• Providing commercially focused recommendations and advice to the client.
• Working closely with the on-site management team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the scheme.
• Supporting initiatives designed to increase footfall, sales and overall customer experience within a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Making regular site visits and using time on site effectively to identify opportunities, resolve issues and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

About You

My client is looking for a proactive, commercially minded property professional who is confident managing complex assets and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience within the property management sector, with specific experience managing shopping centres, retail parks or similar large-scale assets.
• Strong knowledge of lease management and property accounting principles.
• Experience managing service charges and an understanding of relevant RICS standards and best practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and a practical, pragmatic approach to property management.
• A strong understanding of client care and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• The confidence and initiative to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a wider team.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner and strong report-writing ability.
• The ability to establish credibility and trust quickly with clients, retailers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• A commercially aware mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to the wider growth of the business.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious property professional to take on a high-profile management role, work closely with major retail occupiers and clients, and develop their career within a highly experienced property management environment.

You will have the autonomy to make a genuine impact, alongside the support and expertise of an experienced wider team.
